Executive Board position nominations for 2026 are OPEN!
On behalf of the Nominations Committee of the Ohio Chapter, please consider nominating yourself to stand for election for one of the following positions within the Ohio Chapter:
Member engagement is critical to the success of the Ohio Chapter and we are relying on you for strong candidates for these leadership positions. Additional information about each position can be found below, and in the Chapter Bylaws. All terms will start at the business meeting in early 2026.

President-Elect:
**To join: Membership to the Ohio Chapter will be required (annual rate of $45), and you will receive all of the benefits that members enjoy

- Member-at-Large (2 positions)

- The position of interest
- Full name with credentials and title
- Contact information (including institution and email address)
- A letter of commitment that includes a brief bio and a description of what you bring to the chapter leadership team (no longer than 1 page)

President-Elect:
- The President-Elect presides at meetings of the Chapter and the Chapter Executive Board in the absence of the Chapter President and performs other duties as assigned by the President or the Executive Board of the Chapter
- The President-Elect assumes the office of Chapter President in the year following his/her term as President-elect, and then continues responsibilities as chair of the nominations committee as the immediate past-president. Therefore, the total commitment for this position is 3 years.
- The Treasurer maintains custody of all Chapter funds and financial records; deposits funds as directed by the Executive Board; keeps accurate accounts subject to Executive Board inspection; coordinates with SCCM on receipt of membership funds and required tax filings.
- The Treasurer prepares the annual Chapter budget; provides an annual financial report to the Executive Board, SCCM, and Chapter members; and performs additional duties and exercises authorities as assigned under the Bylaws or by Chapter leadership.
- The Members-at-Large act as advisors to the Executive Board to help guide the goals and initiatives of the Chapter
- Each Member-at-Large will be a liaison to a standing committee (many have assumed chair or chair-elect positions, but this is not required) and report committee progress to the Executive Board at all Executive Board meetings
- The Member-at-Large serves a term of three years (2026-2029)
