How does PulsePoint work?
- 911 – call identified as: “CPR needed” triggers activation of the PulsePoint App
- PulsePoint activation only occurs for victims located at a public spaces (USPS address validation: residential vs. commercial)
- Notification to all devices within walking distance of the event (distance varies among agencies depending on population densities)
- When notification is opened by the user, the App shows the location of the victim related to device location (which is updated while moving)
